Lash Extension Aftercare

  • Sleep on your side or back to avoid damaging your lashes.

  • Brush your lashes daily with one our our lash wands.

  • Put down the mascara! It can damage and clump the lashes.

  • Use a lash specific cleanser to wash your lashes daily.

  • Avoid oil-based makeup and beauty products.

  • Schedule your fills right after each appointment so you don't forget!

Brow Lamination Aftercare

  • Avoid getting the brow area wet for 24 hours.

  • Avoid contact with direct sunlight, sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms and swimming pools for the next 48 hours.

  • Avoid using exfoliating and anti-aging skincare (AHA, BHA or scrubs) around the brow area for three days before and then after your treatment.

  • Add a brow oil to keep your brow hairs nourished and hydrated post treatment such as Brow Code Brow Gold Oil or Elleeplex After Care Serum (sold in studio).

  • Master your new brow style with either a brow soap or brow lamination gel to lift and hold in place (sold in studio).

  • Schedule your brow lamination maintenance appointments every 3-4 weeks post lamination.

Lash Lift Aftercare

  • Avoid moisture, excess steam, and water for the first 24 hours.

  • Do not rub or play with your lashes.

  • Do not use shampoos, conditioners, makeups, creams, eye serums or oils on the lashes or around the eye are for first 24 hours.

  • Avoid using a strong eye makeup remover for 48 hours.

  • Try sleeping on your back for the first night to avoid lashes dropping on the outer corner.

  • Use at home treatments to help to keep your lashes conditioned and nourished between lifts such as lash serum, Elleevate Lash Lift Mascara, and Elleeplex After Care Serum (sold in studio).

Mircoblading & Mircoshading Precare

Pre-Care instructions are designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessing bleeding during the procedure will dilute the pigment color and lead to poor results! 

  • Do not work out 24 hours before procedure.

  • NO alcohol or caffeine 48 hours before procedure (Yes, there is caffeine in decaf coffee and tea!).

  • Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure.

  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before procedure.

  • Avoid Fish Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes (Shakeology, etc), "Hair, Skin, Nail" supplements 48 hours prior to procedure.

  • Discontinue Retin-A, Chemical and Laser Peels, microdermabrasions, and Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) atleast 6 weeks prior (and avoid on eyebrow area after procedure to prevent premature fading).

  • Botox and filler on the forehead, temple, and eye area should be avoided 1 month prior to procedure for those who do not regularly receive injectables.  

  • Avoid the following herbs and spices 48 hours before procedure: ginger, cinnamon, garlic, black and cayenne pepper.

  • No brow waxing, tinting, or threading one week prior (the more natural hair growth you have, the better!.

  • Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

Microblading & Microshading Postcare

Microblading post-care is very important to the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows. Do not let any lotion, or makeup touch your eyebrow area during the first 14 days after your procedure.

For the next 8 hours use a damp cotton round or paper towel and gently pat on the treated area every 30 mins to absorb any excess lymph

Day 1 (the next day): Wash your brows one time in the morning with an antibacterial soap rinse thoroughly, pat dry with a clean paper towel. 

Day 2-10: Gently wash the brows with antibacterial soap once in the morning, rinse thoroughly, pat dry with a clean paper towel and apply rice grain size amount of aquaphor to both brows. Repeat the process at night. 

The following must be avoided during all 14 days post-microblading procedure:​

  • Increased sweating

  • Practicing sports

  • Swimming

  • Hot sauna, hot bath, or Jacuzzi

  • Sun tanning or salon tanning

  • UV/UVA Rays or chemicals as they have been known to cause a shift in color and premature fading

  • Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic acid on the face or neck

  • Picking, peeling, or scratching of the micro pigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment

  • Performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning such as garage or basement cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris

  • Drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing of wounds

  • Driving in open air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles, or motorcycles

  • Touching of the eyebrow area except for when rinsing and applying the post-care cream with a cotton swab

  • Tendency towards keloids or scarring

  • Seborrheic dermatitis

  • Skin irritations or Psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.)

  • Sick (cold, flu, etc.)

  • Had Botox in the past 2 months

  • Used Accutane in the past year 

  • Allergic to anesthetic (Lidocaine)

  • Extremely Oily or Problematic Skin

*Diagnosed conditions that are waived are required to bring a doctors note stating their approval.

Take Note…

During the shower, keep your face away from the shower head and avoid hot showers.

​Itching and flaking may appear during the first seven days post-microblading procedure.  However, experience has shown that by following these after-care instructions, these symptoms may quickly disappear.

​Contact a physician if any signs or symptoms develop such as the following: fever, redness at the site, swelling, tenderness of the procedure site, elevated body temperature, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, and/or any green/yellow discharge that is foul in odor.
